Children everywhere share interests, passions, hopes and dreams. Australian children have little knowledge of their close neighbours in Timor-Leste. Over half the population is under 18 years old. Children do not have access to cameras or opportunities for self expression enjoyed by most children in Australia. The personal stories featured at the Head On Exhibition were just a taste of Foto Friendship, a volunteer-led project encouraging children’s creativity and self-expression through visual storytelling.
You can view some of work from the Head On Photo Festival Exhibition, in galleries Gallery | solo 1, Gallery | solo 3 and Gallery | group 3 on our galleries page.
