Foto Friendship 2017 wrapped for the year connecting new foto friends in Timor-Leste and Australia.

In July 2017 our Australian and Timorese facilitators worked together with new foto friends at Eskola Cristal in Timor-Leste’s capital Dili. Eskola Cristal is home to a diverse range of students from all over Timor-Leste. Sixteen talented students took part in a series of workshops run over two weeks. You can see some of their work in our galleries page in Solo Galleries 5 to 8 and in Gallery | group 6.

In Australia we were delighted to welcome back Cabramatta High School for a third time. Under the guidence of their amazing teacher Sandra Van Dyk, 47 students created their own series of unique "foto stories". In January 2018 the stories were delivered to students at Eskola Cristal. Sandra's dedication and impressive contribution to the project produced wonderful stories and culminated in an exhibition at the school in December 2017. Thank you Sandra from the Foto Friendship team.
